As far as having 30 days from the replacement, she was absolutely adamant that was not their policy. That the 30 days was from the original purchase date. She gave the reason of saying "the original is the one with the charge on it so it's 30 days from that date". I told her but I don't have that original anymore, I returned it, and now have a replacement. She still stuck by it. Nuts. We went back and forth on it as I told her that was ridiculously unfair. She just apologized and said, I'm sorry but that is our policy. Regardless of what she said, I frankly find it very hard to believe they would really enforce it if you talk to the right people.
I did look on Amazon's site for their replacement policies and I couldn't find anything that covered that scenario. I'm not too worried, either way. I'd seriously raise hell if they gave me a problem returning it past the 30 days of the original should I ever be in that position. I think this is a case of it depends on who you talk to.

I agree, it's like when they told me the PWs were all back-ordered and I'd have to wait 2 weeks, with the tenth rep telling me that I could get the device within 2 days. I am gettng nervous about this regardless, with three devices that need to be replaced and Amazon Andrew telling me to hold off on any action.
