My two favourites are Misery and Rose Madder, I think because they delve into the mind a fair whack (though I read them when they first came out, so my memory could be playing tricks on me). For stuff more closely aligned with the "supernatural horror" genre, I'd say my favourite is IT. I liked its "epic" nature more than The Stand, I think because I tend to more like grand events spinning around single or few people that are unaware of the larger consequences of their actions (eg. The Hobbit).
