I bought a PW at BB last Friday evening, and so far have no complaints. As is normal, I do see the alternating shadows and light bands at the very bottom of the screen, but do not find this to be annoying. There are no color blotches that I can see after four days of heavy use in varying light conditions. The first night, I thought I saw some pinkish blotches, but realized that they moved together as I moved my eyes and head, and were simply because I had not dimmed the light enough. Staring into the bright white screen in the dark produced the same effect as staring at a bright light bulb and then looking away. My only other (mild) complaint is how heavy the reader is. In the official case, it weighs slightly more than my Sony T-1 does in its lighted case with a AAA battery. I guess the internal battery must be significantly bigger. No big deal though.
