McKenna, Stephen: The Confessions of a Well-Meaning Woman. v1. 24 Oct 2012

I learned about this book when C.S. Lewis cited it as an influence on The Screwtape Letters, but I was surprised to find out how amusing it was. A first-person account from a boorish, utterly self-aware aristocratic dowager whom you nonetheless feel from sympathy for by the end (though not any for her near-psychopathic ne'er-do-well son).

I grabbed this from the Internet Archive and spent a lot of time formatting it. Please let me know if you find any typos.
