I reallly dont think it is my finger holding down too long and what is strange is that I can go along reading a book and it doesnt happen then suddenly it happens once and then continually at each page for about a dozen pages. I have a screen protector on which has been on since new, approx a year ago and wondered whether this would make any difference. It certainly didnt on the old firmware, this only happening on the upgrade. Hope this may explain a bit more clearly

Sorry, I don't know what is happening. With the current firmware, the only way I can get that menu to come up means that some text is selected. And it is obvious when this has happened because of the underlining and handles. And the dictionary popup if only one word was selected. With the 2.0.0 firmware, swiping down the screen would bring up the menu without selecting anything.
One thought, when this happens, what is shown when you press the pencil icon? If no text is selected, it will display a message about how to select text. Otherwise, it has a menu for adding a note or highlight.
As it occurs on a page and from then on, it could be the book. What happens if you go back a few pages and then page forward again?
Having said that, as it happens after a while of reading, it might be a bug that only happens after a while. If you close the book and open it again, does this keep happening? Or put it to sleep? I normally tap the screen to turn the page, but, I'll try and remember to only swipe when I am reading today and see what happens.
