@NiLuJe: A bit late maybe, but thanks a lot for investigating this, I really appreciate it. That's actually good news, because it means that there aren't many changes required to adapt the JBPatch core to the PW. Concerning the overhead: hmm... well yeah, of course some overhead is necessarily present, but 25-30% is really a bit much. I tried to make the entire thing as efficient as possible, but maybe I missed something - I'll check it and try to find out what causes the delays, once I get my PW.

@arikfunke: Since supporting the K3 is actually relatively straightforward, I'm thinking about doing so "officially". As a first step, I simply compiled the K5 version, plus the K3Startup class. I'm attaching the output here. Could you (or anybody else, for that matter) please test this on the K3 and report back if it works? Unless I'm terribly mistaken, it should work smoothly as a drop-in replacement for arikfunke's posted file.

Note: the attached file *is* the jbpatch.jar, but mobileread won't allow to attach jar files. Just rename jbpatch.zip to jbpatch.jar (don't unzip it).
