Could be a dubious side loaded book file to blame although why I don't have a clue.
Afer all the excitement of update, which I like, I am too exhausted to do a reset at this stage. Will just see how it goes over next few days!
The battery lasts about 10 days in Sleep and about 40 days in Power Off. Sleep requires much more power since the memory is active along with other components readied to display the book immediately.
