If you like historical mysteries, I would suggest checking this series out. The book is set in Boston just after the Civil War, and features an Irish governess who is employed by one of the wealthier families in Boston. It's so funny you should mention this now 'cause I just now completed the final book in the series (finished it less than 30 minutes ago, actually), and I loved all the books! I bought the complete series (except the first book, which I got for free) back in March last year (they were cheaper than now, and Kobo was
very generous with their $1 off coupons then
) but only got around to reading the books this past weekend. They were so engrossing, I devoured all 6 books in no time (started on Friday and finished today
). I definitely second the recommendation
