Most touch readers work by tapping or double-tapping the word. If you don't have a touch screen you have to move the cursor to the word but before that you have to open the dictionary application. At the iRiver Story HD you open the dictionary program and then type in the word you want to translate. So, it's really much easier with a touch screen.
