I've not tried the LED lit readers like the PW and the Glo, but I'm honestly not tempted either. I've always used a flex lamp with my Sony readers and will continue to do so. From what I've read about the new technology, it's not worth it to me to spend more money.
Even if my Sony PRS-T1 were to die suddenly, I'd just buy a T-2 and carry on. Plus I have my iPad retina, my favorite thing to read on. I love new gadgets, but I have to draw the line somewhere.
