After a format and fresh install of WinXP, I installed Calibre and it seemed to work fine. I subsequently added an Ubuntu partition. After booting back into XP, Calibre gave an "ERROR: Unhandled exception" message with the following:

After this, a Microsoft error that "calibre.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

I've tried reinstalling on top of the current installation and also using RevoUninstaller to remove all traces of the program and installing again, but the error remains exactly the same (even after multiple reboots and reinstalls).

I really miss my perfect libprs-0.4.49.exe right now...
