Is something like the iPad not working for your pupose? It appears to be the better choice if you do a lot of highlighting and annotating. Or maybe wait for the MS Surface tablets. Microsoft had a very good reader software back in the days of the Pocket PCs. It allowed underlining, highlighting in different colors, scribbling anywhere on the page, and typed annotations. It was so advanced even cmpared to any of today's apps. They may be bringing it back.
