They are webbed and leathery (in a sort of tasteful Coach bag sort of way), with razor sharp claws, that the female duckbilled armadillopuss uses to shave the legs the other female duckbilled armadillopusses in a sort of a mutual grooming effort to look attractive to the male duckbilled armadillopuss, which doesn't shave much of anything.
