Alexander is having internet troubles ; they have probably resulted in some sort of temporal vortex. either that, or he is so efficient that he actually gets things done faster than the speed of light, causing him to travel into the future. it's okay though, i think he drew the "get out of temporal vortex free" card on his last turn so he has chronologic immunity.
