As a lot of people here, I read with the light on at night or in dim conditions, the rest of the time with light off. It makes reading feel very comfortable though as other, I could do with a dimmer light too at lowest setting. I charged it fully the day I bought it (waiting to get home to play with it, I charged it at my office, making me feeling a bit less frustrated not to "play" with it immediately ). I only connected it to my computer to load books (and playing with Calibre's shelves management). So far I have read 4 books on my Glo and my battery is 94% full.

I love my Glo I loved my Touch, but the Glo is a pace ahead with the light (and the management of shelves, that's really great). I don't know if I would love so much an other reader (and why not) but I was really attached to paper book as objects I gave a great value (always loved reading). But I was limited in my thirst of books that pleased me : not always available, not to say rarely available in English here in France. With my reader, I read faster and more than before, I find easier to have books according to my tastes (either in French or in English, and I'm thinking to try to read in German too, as learned it a long time ago at school (yes a very long time in fact )). And I have no more to negociate with my husband to find some place to stock paper books
