She does deserve a new thread.

Hilary Mantel, who already won the 2009 Booker Prize for Wolf Hall, the first part of her trilogy on the life of Thomas Cromwell, just won the 2012 Booker prize today for the second part of the trilogy, Bring Up the Bodies.

In my yearly effort to read the books selected for the shortlist, I was delighted to see it on the list because I had already read it and found it as magnificent as the first tome. I enjoyed Wolf Hall so much, I devoured Bring up the Bodies. I can't wait for the final volume to be published.
