My experiences with backlit screens (computer/tablet) combined with those using lighted cases and clip on reading lights left me a bit 'meh' and unsure about eInk devices with built in lighting.

But that said, I am much more enjoying using the light feature of my Glo, esp. as I can alter the degree of lighting or switch it totally off. I'm actually using the light feature a lot more frequently than I expected to. It's comfortable, esp. being able to tweak the light depending on where I am using it. I also find that I don't need to personally go past around the 30/35% level even a night in bed.

So I'm glad I took the chance after all. I was really pleasantly surprised.
