You have the Basic Plan like I do. It was free, but is no longer offered. Audible replaced it with the Light Plan and now charge $9.95/year for it. Existing Basic Members get to keep the Basic Plan and won't be charged for it.

I cancelled my Gold Plan last December and I still get most of the sales at member prices. See post 7 for an explanation of the two plans.
