I'm looking for a new reader, I have a couple wants and I'd like them solved.

1. I'm not big on tablets, I feel they're overhpyed and priced and cannot replace a laptop at all but they may have a little use but not much basically what I'm saying is I want a reader first that is light and portable and cheap as possible but maybe just maybe I'll like to browse the net for a couple minutes on one as well... I have a iphone but I never left this out. I had a og kindle fire and it was heavy, I can barely type on it but the book reading was great and I enjoyed it.

2. I usually use a program called calibre to convert pdf files into epubs and when I do that sometimes the pictures aren't in the pages like how it is on the pdf files, can I fix that or is that just the way it is?

3. I'm looking for something light and cheap, I was considering the og amazon kindle keyboard, what do you think?

This is basically going to be used for night reader mostly, not much movies or internet just strictly reading.
