Yes. But there is no explanation of what it is. So, I just assumed that it was part of a change to the normal purchase process.

The pop-up has a button for buying the book "Buy Now". It has a link to the standard purchase screen. So, it is completely not obvious what is going on.

And, the standard way of doing something like this is to make people Opt-In. Before doing this for the first time, they should have presented another page/pop-up explaining what this new feature was, and getting a confirmation.
