Red Gardenias, Jonathan Latimer (Crime Club $2)

Crime, Place, Sleuth: Several members of wealthy family monoxidized; Bill Crane, assisted by Ann Fortune, goes through hell and high firewater to identify gasser.

Summing Up: Not too credible plot camouflaged by action, alcohol, and atmosphere, with sleuths wise-cracking ribald way through various dangers.
