French dictionary: is this an iOS 6 functionality?

All I can say is, it's about time!!! Until today the iOS dictionary only worked in English. A few minutes ago I mistakenly hit the definition button after highlighting a French word, and I saw a dialog asking me if I wanted to download a dictionary. You bet I wanted to! I tested it in a couple of apps including iBooks. It seems to be available across apps. Cool!

And that's also the first positive thing I can say about iOS 6. Assuming that's where this comes from. It's not that I hate iOS 6, but it's definitely been a meh experience so far.

Anybody knows how many other languages now have their dictionary?
