seriously though, what
does havering mean ? i've heard it in a song, but even the context was not very helpful.
(edit : and before you ask, i *did* look it up ; there are 5 definitions, ranging from "oats" to "friend (in hebrew)" (that one struck me as odd, given i was looking in an english dictionary) to "maunder" which is probably closest to what mindy meant but still doesn't make sense in the song, if memory serves, so i'm suspecting there's actually a sixth *secret* meaning which only true scots know.)
