Just pulled out one of my el-cheapo styli I use with my iPad sometimes, and it works on the Kindle Paperwhite. I think I got this on Amazon (but shipped from HK), pack of 3 for a couple of bucks.

In short: an iPad/iPhone stylus of any quality should work.
