OK, let's see if this makes a difference: We have temporarily disabled push notification to Tapatalk users.
Tapatalk's servers are slow at the moment to the point of being unusable, and it's possible that the slow-down/timeout we've been experiencing is our servers timing-out while pushing new posts notifications to Tapatalk. Meanwhile we'll investigate further and also contact the Tapatalk guys.
