All of my computers (11 so far), all networked devices (printers, NASs, handhelds, ...), and some other devices have been named. My computers and handhelds have all been named after computers or AI's that have appeared in SF stories.

My K3 is named Pauline after the AI used first by the character John Boone in Kim Stanley Robinson's Red Mars. My previous reading device, the UX-50 in my avatar, was named Rei Toei after the synthetic persona in William Gibson's Idoru.
