It's the Sony Reader, not eReader. It does not read Ereader format. eReader can be read on a computer or PDA, not the PRS-505. The only way you can read those 4 ebooks on you 505 would be to remove the DRM. Unless you are a moderately technical person I would not recommend it.

As for getting more ebooks, I think you should stick with Adobe PDF until you are comfortable with format conversion.
