Limited firmware upgrade for PRS500?

Hello,
I've heard a couple of people complain that the amount of memory in a PRS500 might not be enough for all the PRS505 firmware additions. How about some of them, Sony? PDF reflow would be the most important for me.
It seems that since the ebook market is small at the moment, "Sony Reader" means more to the consumers out there than "PRS500" or "PRS505" and this sort of disjointed support might not help matters for Sony.
I thought the 64 MB/128 MB difference was related to flash RAM for books, not firmware, but I may be wrong: how much volatile RAM, firmware flash RAM and book nonvolatile RAM is in the Sony Reader models anyway? Is that correct or the RAM arranged in another way I am not aware of?
