Oh, that was so much fun.
I just got off the phone with a major publisher. I used to purchase an awful lot of books, and so I would get calls from Publishers offering me discounts for purchasing large quantities.
However, my only question to them when they called this time was, "How many of these books are available in digital editions which can be read on a Kindle?"
The answer was "none. So how many copies of how many titles can we put on your order?"
My answer was "none. I'm not purchasing anything but digital editions now. So, until you have digital editions in a format compatible with a Kindle, you can take me off of your phone list."
Oh, man ... that just felt sooooo gooood!!
