Last week I had to travel a lot, going from plane to plane and from airport to airport. I took my K3 for granted as it had been with me for 2 years and seemed invincible, but at some point it must have been under a lot of physical pressure in my backpack.
The result is that a relatively big part of the upper left screen is not working anymore, it looks white-r and I believe that there is no going back.
So my question is what to do now. I don't believe it can be repaired. What do you suggest I do?
I liked my K3 with its keyboard and the fact that I can turn the pages with the side buttons. The Paperwhites look nice with them bright screens, but no side-buttons? Can you get used to the touchscreen? Also, I liked to listen to music and no audio in PW is a problem (not huge, but not small either).
If then a Paperwhite is not good for me, what should I do? Go to the K4s without the physical keyboard? Try the Touch?
What are my options?
Please also have in mind that I live in Europe (so no international shipping for the PW yet) and that I used the Duokan a lot (for epubs etc).
Any advice would be appreciated, while I mourn my beloved K3
