The forum has rules about where affiliate links may be posted. Also, Amazon Associates TOS has rules as well. It's my understanding (I'm slowly wading through it as I prepare to start using affiliate links on my own site) that Associates can only use their referral links on sites that are under the Associate's control. Public forums do not meet that requirement.
