Hello, I'm new, I saw this forum recommended over in the Crackberry.com thread about BookReader (BB Playbook app). Much as I'm an old fuddyduddy who loves the smell of printed paper, I have also been taken with reading on electronic devices - there are so many free books out there, and as long as I was tied to sitting at my computer I wasn't taking advantage of them. Also, my shelves are full, and I can keep adding books to my collection without addressing the shelf space issue...
I have one of those small Kindles with a keyboard that they don't make anymore, and I'm trying to snag a used Kindle Touch because they're disappearing now that the Paperwhite is coming out (I don't like the reduction in storage space on the Paperwhite). I also have some things on my Playbook that I got from archive.org, their stuff works much better in EPUB format than the Kindle format they have.
I'm always looking for good stuff to put on my Kindle, and for comments about the pros and cons of the various devices. (Don't have an iPad and not planning to get one....so far.)
