Hi, Peter. Don't Panic!

This seems to be a bug with the newest firmware version, and contrary to some of the experience on the forum, this has actually been the first instance of malfunction in my Cybook which I've had since December. I really, really doubt that this is a hardware issue.

Easy to fix, though annoying. On the back of your device (take it out of the case) you'll see a little indentation with a tiny button. That's the manual reset, and you can press it with a pen or a 3.5mm audio jack. Hold it down for a second or so, and then press the power button. This should reboot your system.

(Also, don't be alarmed that the screen doesn't go blank after you press the reset button.)
