Kobo ties up deal with UK Booksellers Assoc

http://www.reghardware.com/2012/09/1...to_pitch_kobo/

This is a fascinating deal that will allow independent Booksellers in the UK to sell Kobo's almost as if they were it's own brand and will doubtless bring the Kobo a wider recognition in the UK. As the UK's largest bookchain Waterstones has now bizarrely partnered with its biggest nemesis, Amazon to sell Kindles, this will at least offer a glimmer of hope for survival of the independent brick & mortar stores who will have just read that Ebook fiction sales for the first six months of 2012 have risen 188%.
