I ordered the new (redesigned?) $159 Kindle Fire this morning. Didn't pre-order because I wanted to apply some gift cards directly to the order which you cannot do with a pre-order. Ordered the add-on charger (wall-wart) and stylus as well. It appears to have turned out to be the last no-california-tax-collected order I'll get from Amazon.
