LOL
Apple releases preorder figures for every iPhone model very soon after launch. In 2010, the iPhone 4 sold
600,000 units before supply dried up. In 2011, Apple sold over
1,000,000 units in the first 24 hours. In a very short while, we will have preorder sales figures for the iPhone 5, which will undoubtedly top those of its predecessors.
If you think Apple went to market with massive supply shortages, you know nothing either about business or Apple. The company is run by very intelligent people. Much smarter than you. They will have spent the last 12 months ensuring that their supply is proportionate to expected demand. Which is huge.
But we already knew that.
