I've about 500 books on various wishlists. $1/book adds up. Also I have many bought but unread books. Unless I see a discount I see no reason to buy NOW. If I see a bargain I'll grab it even knowing it'll be months before I have time to get around to it.
Also looking at two books both of which interest me I'll buy the one that offers a discount first.
