Yeah. I have usually needed to manually install the built-in Microsoft RNDIS driver, as shown in the quote I added to my previous post. Even though it is from Microsoft, it is not "windows qualified", so it does not install automatically, and you need to say "install anyway" after the "may not be safe" warning.
