As I am sure you're aware, you can't actually have a debate with people like this. Everything was invented before Apple, everything was better before Apple, nothing Apple did was ever worth a damn.
Of course, that leads them to explain a few awkward fact about history, like why the iPod and the iPhone and the iPad became wild successes, selling hundreds of millions of units, having the highest user satisfaction ratings among all competing products, and so forth.
This is where the Apple Is A Marketing Company meme comes from. The Reality Distortion Field. The basic idea is that Dave is a genius who uses his massive intellect to choose a rival's product based on reason and critical thinking whereas 500 million people are just blind idiots, "worshipping Cupertino" as he put it, susceptible to pretty pictures and buzzwords. Not a single one of them is capable of intelligent, rational thought. There could not be a single virtue to the product or the ecosystem that makes them worthy of purchase. It's just a massive brainwashing conspiracy.
That is what you have to argue against. And really... why bother? Stick to people like Graham.
