Thanks, Arios. Does the serial number begin with an 'N', by any chance? Could you let me have the first few characters up to the first comma, and the the last three digits in the long string, please? To do this, connect the KT to your computer and open the file manager. On the device, there is a file : \.kobo\version - that is where the information is.

On the charging note, I charged mine from half to full the other day, and have had no problems.
