In fact it is for the very reason that I didn't have a screen break that I opened this thread up

I have a lanyard connected to my 505 which I always loop around my wrist to keep my Precious safe. Shaky morning hands the other day saw me propel my 505 onto the tiled kitchen floor. Stomach sank and I could feel the sting of tears rising.

I picked the unit up and all was well with the screen. The top left corner of the unit is now a bit loose and a sliver of the blue alloy has even peeled away but other than that everything is okay.

And I say again, I didn't drop it, I propelled it at the floor. I'm most relieved and happy with the resilience of the thing.

cheers
