Let me add that most could systems have a public and private views/sharing. For private sharing, users must have accounts on your chosen system. For Public sharing you are given a URL that you can send them (or even directories that both share*). This is essentially the same thing as giving them a URL on your website.


* Directory sharing is for more powerful but more complex to use.
