I bought my first e-Reader - Kindle Touch with Special Offers - a couple of weeks ago, but have been searching and reading here and there for quite some time...

I also have the Kindle software installed in my PC, Netbook and iPhone for quite some time. So, I can say a am already a little familiar with its concepts. But I still consider myself a newbie, for there are differences between Kindles and Kindle emulators, right?

I have already downloaded many books from "The Gutemberg Project", "Scribd", Amazon Books and other paid and free e-Book providers, as well as converting some to the MOBI format, using CALIBRE (by the way, excellent software!). Didn't find any problems doing that before acquiring my Kindle, and only using the emulators...

Well, that´s all for now. I have a lot to read here and hope I can also contribute with my experiences in the world of e-Book readers.
