I'm not familiar with BooksOnBoard (I have bought there only once) but if a shopping cart can last any length of time, then they have to allow for prices to change. For example, if I had put a book in my cart when it was at a sale price, but waited 30 days to buy it, I couldn't expect the price to necessarily be the same.

I understand that it is disconcerting when you JUST put the item in. I hope you had a chance to see the final price before clicking OK? That might be the best compromise in these cases. I know I store things in my Amazon cart for quite a while!
