They definitely had a blip. I purchased 2 Agatha Christie and 3 Tony Hillerman books and carefully noted each price plus the stated tax. But when I paid through PayPal each book had gone up in price on the receipt (the Christies went from 4.68 to 5.31 before tax; the Hillermans went up .50 each, all before tax). Very little time elapsed between placing the books in the cart and paying for them.
When I contacted BooksonBoard I received this email:
"Thank you for shopping with BooksOnBoard. Coincidentally, just today HarperCollins has switched back from the Agency pricing model to normal eBook pricing. This may have had an effect on the overall prices of some of their books, however I'm unable to verify since we don't typically keep records of what books used to cost."
edit: It doesn't seem right that the price in the cart when you click to pay with Paypal should be different than the final price charged.
