My year old Kindle Keyboard recently developed the commonly seen diagonal crack in the bezel, Amazon were really cool about it and sent me a replacement within days but unfortunately the new Kindle's screen does not seem as vibrant as my old one.
Whites are darker and blacks are lighter, it's subtle but I could clearly tell the difference so I called Amazon and they sent me another...same problem
If I had to guess I'd say that they've reduced the manufacturing standards now that the new models are available, has anyone else experienced this?
So far it looks like I'm keeping my cracked Kindle and waiting to see what the PaperWhite looks like in person.
