I can see clearly now
I can see clearly now the rain has gone
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It’s going to be a bright, bright sunshiny day

Good morning, everyone! Taylor's "English Breakfast" tea beside me, a teeny tiny bowl of rice with some slices of chicken and a few chunks of daikon for breakfast, then I'm on my way again. I took a 5k walk yesterday along the side of Kyoto, visiting one of my favorite temple areas. I must have shot well over 500 photos... temples, people, patterns... Got some new photos of Geisha, Maiko, and as new fad that has taken hold in Japan... "Dress Up!" People rent Maiko and Samurai costumes and make-up, and go strolling the streets letting people take photos of them. Some of them look really convincing too. Others... well... let's just say I hope they are having a good time. I'm hoping I got 10-20 'keeper' photos out of the bunch. The lighting was pretty difficult, but Photoshop is my friend.

And all this walking around that I've been doing every day is dropping my weight faster than I ever thought possible (Kyoto is hilly) and today I'm going back one size on my pants! Yippee!

I put in a Logitech HD Webcam C615 camera, which is by no means top of the line stuff (those sell for $150-$300,) and for a video board an NVidia Geforce that looks like this one. They seem to sell different models here in Japan. It requires two panel openings but only one board slot.
