Regarding Lucas : I know you are probably more than fed up with my "supermomknowsitbetter" advices, but if he has a high fever, which some kids tend to have for no other reason than teething or growing spurts, bathing the baby in a bath at 37°C (some charitable soul please translate that to F) does the trick. If the fever spikes up again when you take the baby out of the bath, you should go to the emergency room. If not, you can wait a couple hours more before making a decision. In our case, petite princesse used to scare us that way, but since she was number two, I used that trick and ended up never having to go to the emergency room, but once or twice going to the paedetrician on the next day.
