I think it's really hard to detach yourself from an issue and come to grips with limitations such as hardware when we get a software update.
I liken this whole issue to DirectX 9 vs. 10.
I am disappointed in Sony but I totally understand it and my 500 is still going to be by my side for a long time until probably the 510....
