EDIT - Convinced myself and changed my order to ad supported and added the cover. I figure it is easy enough to pay to $20 later if the ads bother me. Other good news is that the estimated delivery is now 10-3 instead of 10-11. Bad news is that the blue cover won't be here until 10-31! My wife's pink one will be here on 10-3. Amazon, make more blue!

If you're reading and stop for a while until the screensaver pops up, sliding the power button returns you to the same spot in your book. However, strictly speaking, you can't turn off the K3. If you hold the power exactly 7 seconds, the screen goes blank. When you slide the power switch again, the screen comes on, and you're back in your book. That's as "off" as the K3 will go.
